MCT Oil acts as an emollient, viscosity modifier, solvent, masking- and perfuming agent. It is composed of glycerin, caprylic and capric fatty acids. It has strong polarity, medium spreadibility and helps the skin to stay soft and supple. Also reduces irritation and drying out of skin by improving the skin barrier. It is used in a wide range of skin care cosmetics like facial care, body care, hair care and lip care products, massage oil, masks, aerosols and sprays as well as decorative cosmetics.
